RSCP admits preschool-aged children from 18 months to five years of age, regardless of race, color, creed, or religion, or national or ethnic origin. Children must meet the stated minimum age requirements by September 30th. Parents are also asked to consider their child’s personality and developmental stage when considering the appropriate age to begin a preschool program.

Enrollment is extended to students in order of the following priority, with offers of admission based on each child's developmental stage:

  • Children of current members and staff
  • Children of prior members, alumni and staff
  • Children of members of the Rock Spring Congregational United Church of Christ
  • All others who submit applications for membership



2025-2026 Enrollment

Applications will be accepted for the 2025-2026 school year starting in November 2024. Applicants who have submitted applications and paid applicable fees will be entered into a lottery in mid-February 2025 and, if not offered a spot, notified of their waitlist position in early to mid-March 2025.


A number of other overriding factors, such as gender balance, age mix and developmental readiness of students, may be considered as openings are filled. Final class placement decisions are made by the staff. To be considered for the lottery, please submit an application between November 2024, and February 20th, 2025. 


Any applications received after this date will be added to our waitlist on a first-come-first-served basis unless spots remain in the class.


Provisional Membership Period
New families that are offered enrollment will be considered provisional members in the RSCP cooperative from the time contract documents are signed, until September 30th of the upcoming school year. Provisional members who have fulfilled all registration and membership requirements at that time will be granted full membership.

  • JANUARY 29 and 30 - In-person Open Houses 9:30am-11:30am.
  • FEBRUARY 20 - Applications due
  • FEBRUARY 21 - Enrollment lottery conducted
  • FEBRUARY 24 - Families begin being notified of admission status
  • MID MARCH - All families notified of admission/waitlist positions
  • ​Ongoing after March - Applications are accepted for open spots and waitlists
